Breakers East #601

The location is a good one. I enjoy the view. The rental staff is very responsive. Amazing actually. The kitchen was well equipped.

Another great stay at Breaker’s East! This was our third year staying here and it did not disappoint. Sometimes the elevators can be slow but it is nothing that ruins the trip. Always clean rooms, stocked adequately, clear instructions on check-in/check out and easy access to the beach. I love that a chair and umbrella rental is included and set up each morning. We will be back again :)

Living room furniture was horrible! We had to put pillows on them to set. Had a few bugs in the kitchen which they gave us some bug traps for. The hosts were very easy to get hold of and were very nice.

Overall-very satisfied. The only drawback was that one of the elevators was not working. Left with a single elevator, it made coming from and going to the condo very congested.

I think this was our fourth time staying at Breakers East. It was our second time in this unit. We love that the units and balconies are large, but it is a smaller building. We walk the beach and notice how crowded the beach is at the larger resorts, but not at Breakers East! We love that beach rental set up is included in the price.

This was by far the best vacation ever. The condo was beautiful and stocked with all of the necessities needed. Would definitely book again. Owners were helpful and courteous.

Very nice condo. Very comfortable, clean and updated. Has very large rooms. Located in a beautiful stretch of beach. The included beach rental was very convenient. The grounds are well maintained. Management company was very responsive to the couple of issues we had . We l could see the sunrise from the side windows since this is an end unit windows . Tennis courts were being resurfaced during our visit . Looks like they will be in great shape upon completion.

First time staying at Breakers East #601, the place was very nice and clean. Had everything we needed and the layout of the condo was perfect? The balcony space is awesome.The condo location was another plus, close to all restaurants and other activities. Definitely liked having the umbrella & chairs come with the rental. Thanks to Carolyn and Erica Manley for another great vacation at the beach. Thanks again we had a wonderful trip.

We had the best week with family and friends. The water was like glass most days. Enjoyed our stay. Condo was fully stocked. Erica was very responsive.

The unit was dirty. Furniture very stained. Floors dirty and carpet very nasty needs replacing. The beds are very uncomfortable.

We found the entire Breakers East complex to be very clean and kept in very good shape. We travelled to Destin for a baseball tournament and the entire team's families all stayed at the Breakers East. Everyone had great things to say about their rooms and the overall facility. The management staff and beach attendant staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved the condo! It was super clean and it had what we needed. The view was gorgeous! We will definitely be back again! The only issue we came across was the fire alarm went off a few times while we were there. Other than that, it was a great vacation!

It was everything we have come to expect from our multiple trips to Breaker’s East.

The unit, location, and beach were all wonderful. But above all, I am really impressed by Ms. Carolyn Bobbitt's commitment to make guests happy. She was a big help from the reservation till the end of the stay. I would definitely recommend this unit to my friends and will definitely stay here whenever we are back in Destin.

Great stay...Look forward to booking again! I would only recommend that you have a few big plastic cups to fill to bring down to the beach...I left some but really I loved the condo and had everything I needed

We have had our annual family reunion at Breakers East every year since it was built with the exception of one year because of hurricane damage. Our family come from 14 states and this year had to be in the top 10! The accommodations were wonderful - clean, updated, and more than sufficiently supplied - never disappoints! The level of service provided through Your Assistant at the Beach was phenomenal!!! Whenever we needed help, they were only a text or email away. The response time was almost immediate! This was the second year we booked through them and be rest-assured, they will be the only management company we will go through. Some of us have already booked for next year and are hoping to make it the best one ever!

We had a great experience at the rental. It was clean and looked just like the pictures! Everyone was very helpful as well. We will definitely be back!

We always love Breakers East and have stayed there for almost 10 years. This year was still good other than a few outliers.
There were people under us that smoked weed for the first couple of days and we could smell it on our balcony when we would go out there to sit. There was also a big group of people who were very loud and obnoxious and sheriffs office was actually called on them on the beach and they acted so bad to those officers. We watched the entire encounter. I actually asked one of the ladies to watch her language and she called me a really awful name. So glad my son was not with me when she said what she said.
Other than that we always love Breakers East. Too bad everyone can’t contain themselves when they drink.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations! I think I may want to move into this unit. Definitely felt like home away from home, that's the best you can ask for. This is the first time in this unit but have stayed in the complex for about 5 years and it gets better and better. Perfect location, not to crowded on the beach, in the middle of it all without feeling to busy. We will see ya next year, thanks again for making it such am easy process!

Beautiful condo. Beds were very comfortable. TVs in every bedroom. I bought my own fire stick to use in the living room so we could watch Netflix.
Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, blenders, wok, coffee pot and Keurig.
Very clean. I would definitely rent this condo again.

This is our 7th year to stay at Breakers East. It is a really nice place, clean, well kept, safe, good location. Just a great place to spend some time in the sun. Also, it is very nice working with Your Assistant at the Beach.

We all enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well organized. My wife loved the kitchen there was everything we needed in the kitchen.

I am so glad I chose this unit. You will be too. It was very clean, spacious and beautiful. It was very spacious. Yes, I said it twice. The kitchen area was huge and had all the appliances & gadgets you will need.

If you enjoy having a true beachfront view front your unit, This Is It. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. Great location! Near restaurants & activities. The outside pool was heated. We saw dolphins & stingrays while sitting on the beach. We went as a family of 5 and we absolutely loved it.

I have to mention, every time we put a movie in the dvd player it was dark most of the movie. I believe the DVD player might need changing out. Bring a fire stick if you have one. Cable was not great. VERY basic. I bought a few movies to enjoy during our down time. Also, I paid a $170 cleaning fee then was asked to start the dishwasher, start a load of dirty towels and take out the trash before we checked out. I think that's absorb. Again, I paid a $170 cleaning fee. I always leave my rentals in decent shape. Check in is not until 4pm. I believe that gives housekeeping plenty time to clean if they're not watching tv, taking a nap, on the phone or enjoying the beach scenery.

Other than that we would definitely reserve this unit again.

if anyone has a problem with this condo, they are nuts. One of the largest sq ft room condos in Destin. Great view, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, easy check in out, steps from the beach. Small complex and not crowded. What else is there?

Breakers east is the ideal location in Destin, unit 601 is beautiful and very spacious. The only thing you need to bring is your suitcase. Your assistant at the beach is the only site I would rent from in Destin. They are always quick to respond to any issues you may have. In all the years of renting from them, only had to call once. Tell your friends,great place and the best assistant in Destin.

The unit was top notch!! The kitchen was well equipped and the Unit as a whole was just great!!! We have stayed in many units in BreakersEast and this one was really good!!

This is a lovely place to spend some time at the beach. Wonderful views of the ocean from sunrise to sunset. Quick access to the beach - great for long walks. Security gates for parking and for the beach give an extra sense of safety. Convenient to everything in Destin.

Had a really relaxing time at the beach for Thanksgiving. The condo is very spacious and the beach and water were beautiful!

This was our 4th time staying at Breakers East, and the first time booking 601.
I felt this condo was not up to pare as the last 2 we’ve stayed in.
There were several spots on the ceiling from water damage/stain, the carpet in mater bedroom was very worn as you enter the room and bathroom. The beds were not comfortable in guest room or master. It just wasn’t as nice as the others for the same price.
We will definitely come back to Breakers East, just not to 601.

This condo was excellent, very clean and the location was great. We enjoyed our stay here.

This is the second time we have stayed at Breakers East in Destin and we have never had a better experience.
The unit was perfect the weather was perfect (maybe a bit hot for Sept. but we had the water to take care of that) and the Gulf was the best of anytime I can remember.
I also must compliment Carolyn she is the most accommodating Mgr. to work with an asset to the Breakers East staff.

This is a beautiful unit with great beach access. It is tastefully decorated (not one fish on the wall), the rooms are spacious and the kitchen is bright and functional. The king bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms were both very nice. The beach chairs/umbrella set up is a real plus. The pool area and the grounds are very clean and well kept. There are many things within walking distance and many good restaurants close by. If this unit is available, do not hesitate to rent it. You will not be disappointed.

Our family has been coming to Breakers East for over 30 years and have always been very happy with the accomodations! Cheers for the next 30+.

Cant say enough good things about this unit and our stay. The unit was very clean and updated! We had everything we needed and more. Carolyn was great with making sure everything was setup. Breakers east is a family friendly resort. It was very quiet and all of the other guests were respectful and polite!

We visited Destin for the 1st time and loved the area and our condo. Located in the heart of things. Restaurants, putt putt, marina, water park, ice cream, shopping, etc... all located on the same road within 7 miles of the condo (going both ways). This road is busy much of the day so have your patience on and give yourself plenty of time to get places. Absolutely no issues the entire time.

Carolyn answered all questions promptly when emailed and we even left an item behind and she responded very quickly by text and all turned out well.

The master bedroom was quite large with plenty of closet and drawer space. The master bathroom was great with a large walk in shower. Plenty of towels were available.

The second bedroom was also nice sized. Our 2 college aged children each had their own full size bed with plenty of other space as well. The second bathroom was a tub/shower and was nice sized for a second bathroom.

We used the washer/dryer numerous time to wash towels. Someone had left detergent which was kind.

Having the beach set up was great since we flew and was unable to bring our beach things. In the laundry room were numerous boogie boards, 2 round tubes and an extra beach chair. We were so thankful to have them. We needed a cooler so we left a medium sized styrofoam cooler that we bought so hopefully someone will be able to use that.
