Breakers East 1204

The condo was the perfect space for our family! The building was beautiful and the condo was equipped with everything we needed!

Overall we had a nice stay! Condo was as described and offered plenty of space for our family of 4– plenty of hangers, drawers, beach towels, linens, and extra fans (help to drown any noise heard in bedroom from guests on the elevator) The condo lacked cleanliness, by the cleaning staff, nothing I couldn’t tidy up myself but wasn’t welcoming. Also there isn’t overhead lighting in many areas and the lamps didn’t provide adequate lighting. Showers both great and seemed to be recently upgraded! Overall, our stay was wonderful and we will return to Breakers East! Oh- 1 elevator broke mid stay, so you either had to be patient or take the stairs!

Only one of two small elevators were working. The room smelled stale or musty at best, moldy smell was likely. Half our group had to get a hotel room last minute.

Unit was clean, with a very nice layout. Somewhat dated but not bad at all. Furniture was very nice and comfortable. Plenty of kitchenware and appliances. Great view. Sliding glass doors need some work on the locking latches. For the two of us there were a lot of bathroom amenities provided. The Assistant on the Beach was really helpful and responsive to all texts. We would definitely stay here again if available.

We had another wonderful experience in our stay from Dec to Mar. We have come to expect excellence at this property and this year was no exception. Our unit was clean and well maintained as is the entire property. If we ever had an occasion when something was amiss, it was quickly resolved-with a smile. Everyone at Your Asst at the Beach is great to work with and attentive to guests' needs. We would highly recommend to anyone that they consider Breakers East for their next visit to Destin.

What can we say, we love this place and we love Destin. Kids has a blast as always. See ya next year

Ever changing Destin weather as usual (rain, fog and of course, sunny warm beach time). Love it all.
Unit 1204 was not updated but very nice. Appreciated the kitchen accoutrements. Great view.
p.s. if a higher unit than 204 becomes available for 2024 we would agree to a switch.

The condo was very spacious and in a great location. But it would benefit from some maintenance and cleaning. We had mold in the kitchen along with ants. I contacted management and the mold was cleaned up but the cleaners left a mess on the cooktop and microwave in the process. I was told they would spray for the ants but we had issues all week and had to be very careful to keep all foos sealed all week. We didn’t want to have to throw out more food. The baseboards needed cleaning witch made me wonder how well the cleaning crew was actually cleaning anything.

Spacious nice place. Only a few minor issues, 1 of the elevators was non-functional the entire stay and the only other elevator was non functional for several hours one day, walk up to 12th floor was not fun, and impossible for my 85 year old in-laws. Also the kitchen should have a few basics such as salt and pepper (maybe a few other spices) and at least 1 coffee filter and /of a few Keurig cups to get the first morning started being we arrived very late the first evening.

It needs a remodel. Chips in kitchen counter top, doors don't shut, very few dishes and silverware.
Drawers in both bathrooms don't shut. In need of a new comforter for master bedroom. Cushions on sofas are dirty. A blanket was dirty and on the shelve in the closet.

Breakers East is a wonderful place to stay. The facility had a very nice heated pool, the proximity to the beach was good and the complimentary beach service was wonderful.

The Unit itself was spacious, had a huge balcony and beautiful views of the Gulf. The living room furniture and beds were very comfortable. The dining furniture included a small table with seating for 4. One of the 4 chairs had a cracked back. There were 2 barstools provided but there was no bar area to sit at (the counter had no overhang so it was impossible to sit there.)

The kitchen is in desperate need of cleaning an updating. The cabinets were dirty inside and actually had dead insects in them. The lazy susan shelves creaked loudly when turned. The countertop was chipped and needed to be replaced. The appliances were adequate and worked fine. The utensils and dishes were minimal and mismatched. There was no working can opener (the electric on provided did not work.) Balcony furniture was adequate but not very comfortable. Bedroom carpet was extremely dirty.

Overall, space was wonderful. Furnishings were adequate.

Nice surroundings nice view. Rooms were hard to cool. Lots of fans in closets were a good hint. Beds hard. Rugs on floor need replacing.

Upon arrival we were amazed.with.the beautiful view and close proximity to the beach. Our rental was up to date, clean and relaxing! I would definitely request this property in the future.

Well spent 8 glorious days. The condo was just as pictured. The beach setup and beach access couldn't have been better! Definitely going back in a less busy season!

This condo needs a good cleaning. Thankful for the pool cuz winds didn’t allow us in the gulf too much. Fire evacuations of three times in a 24 hours from the 12th floor was a little crazy and scary for our two grandkids.

We love this condo. This is our second year coming back to the same condo. The condo is roomy and clean. The management is very helpful. The view from the condo is AMAZING. Almost every morning we could watch the dolphins swim by, sometimes very close to the beach. The heated pool is an awesome touch, even in cooler days and nights. I am sure we will be back.

We enjoyed this condo b/c it is a bit larger than what we are used too for the money. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We especially liked the short walk to the water and having the beach chairs and umbrella included with the rental.

Condo was exactly as advertised.
Only a few minor things missing; no facial tissue in either BR, had to go out and buy some. Only 1 trash bag available.

Was amazing condo with amazing views. Perfect size for our family of 8. Condo is nice and roomy, not crowded at all. Beach service was excellent! Would definitely stay here again!

our family have an amazing time , excellent place, amazing view, close to everything, clean, grills with a view. the condo need an update but overall is very comfortable, the stove have grease, and we find a sock under the sink from I guess previous peoples, we decide to disinfected everything. we definitely going back , My only concern is people not practicing social distance in the elevator. also the beach chairs services is excellent and the prices are absolutely unbeatable. Assistantships at the beach are excellent.

The condo was fairly clean but needs updated. There was a musty odor inside the whole time we were there. The view of the beach and the balcony were fabulous.

All was as expected-kitchen lacking some basic things, condo was dated, linens were clean, and beds comfortable.
